Karen Richardson is a watercolour artist who finds inspiration in the harsh terrain of the Canadian Shield taking inspiration from the forests, rocks, lakes, and rivers that encompass this area. She was looking for a logo that would capture her story, one that would represent not only her but all of her paintings. Karen's favourite landscape colours are warm browns contrasted with cool blues. She also loves to paint trees in a way that makes them interesting, gnarly and less pristine. We incorporated all of these elements, along with her own signature to develop her own customized brand!
